Fellatio

The word "fellatio" comes from the Latin verb "fellare", which means "to suck". Fellatio is the act of stimulating a penis with the mouth, often to orgasm. Use of lips, tongue, teeth, hands, or even tongue rings can be used to increase the sexual stimulation.

Fellatio is a form of oral sex and may be practised by a man and a women or by two men.

Fellatio is also more commonly known as - sucking someone off, a blow job or giving head.
Although fellatio is commonly misperceived as a safe sexual act, the performer or the recipient of fellatio can contract diseases including
HIV. Flossing, brushing your teeth or eating hard foods can cause the lining of your mouth to have tiny cuts. To reduce the risk of contracting a Sexually Transmitted Infection, use a condom. Condoms and lube with interesting and exotic flavors can be purchased readily in novelty shops.

Fellatio may be performed in many positions, for example:

with the man sucking and his partner kneeling as he/she sucks his penis
with the man lying on his back and his partner bending over to suck him
with the man sitting and his partner kneeling so as to gain access to his penis

For a longer list, see sex positions.

During fellatio, all parts of the penis including the glans, shaft, frenulum and meatus (piss-slit) may be licked or sucked. Many men also like to have their testicles licked, sucked or even nibbled; or to have a finger or dildo inserted in their anuses as they are pleasured.

There are also positions where the two men or man and woman may give each other oral stimulation. This is called 69ing.

There are two typical outcomes of fellatio on the part of the person performing fellatio: spitting and swallowing. Spitting involves the person performing fellatio not swallowing the semen that shoots out of the penis at the moment of orgasm and then spitting the semen out, whereas swallowing involves the person performing fellatio continuing to suck as the male orgasms and swallowing the semen as it shoots into the recipient's mouth.

Some people enjoy the taste of semen, and it is widely rumored that what a male eats affects how his semen tastes. Generally speaking, sweet foods (such as fruit) will make it taste better, whilst bitter foods (such as coffee and asparagus) make semen taste more pungent.

Many men enjoy eating their own semen and some are supple enough to perform autofellatio or self-sucking in which they suck their own penises.

People with an easily upset gag reflex or acid reflux may have difficulty successfully performing fellatio.
